    • High salary or other significantly high remuneration in relation to others in the field.

Application Process:

The process of applying for an O-1A visa involves multiple steps:

  1. Gather Evidence: Collect documentation that proves you meet the eligibility criteria.
  2. Obtain Consultation: Get an advisory opinion from a peer group or individual with expertise in your field.
  3. Petition: A U.S. employer, agent, or foreign employer must file Form I-129, Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  4. Wait for Approval: Upon approval of the petition, you may apply for a visa.

Duration and Extension:

The O-1A visa is initially granted for up to 3 years. Further extensions may be granted in 1-year increments, as long as the individual continues the same event or activities that the original O-1A visa was approved for.
